Tip #1

So along with providing you with information on various exercising activities I have decided to also give you any helpful tip I have along the way.

This first one comes to you not just from a sanitation level but one that also irritates and disgusts me on several levels...CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT!!! I can't tell you how many times I am in the gym and I see too many people use the machines, sweat like a beast, and then just walk away. Think that's bad? Not even, what's even worse is when the next user gets on and starts their workout...now that's disgusting! It's also how germs and diseases get started. A
few years ago Brock had an outbreak, it was a a type of flesh eating disease that started in they gym, and it was all from the combination of hundreds of dirty people not cleaning their machines after use, the combination of various types of sweat turned into this flesh eating disease - barf. It is because of these people that I clean my equipment before AND after I use them.

So please be wise, and for the love of everything that is good and pure in this world please clean your equipment!

  1. Jamie I totally agree with you on this one. One guy at the Brock gym would wear a full out hoody, winter vest, and velor sweat pants, sweat it up, then just leave. Barf.

  2. My old school had a brand new gym that just opened last january. They did not have towels and spraybottles, instead I would describe what they had as papertowel sizes wet wipes. For one full week they are out of wipes. There was NOTHING to clean the equipment with...DISGUSTING! Needless I was in bed sick by the end of the week. SO yes clean the equipment
PS. I read your cardio playlist, i see you like Metallica so I am surprised you don't have Fuel - one of my fav songs to ramp it up with.

  3. I really don't understand why people don't clean their equipment, do they think that their sweat is different and not gross? But what really gets me is its these people who look at me like I'm insane when I clean the equipment before I even use it lol - it's because of you people that I'm doing this lol.

  4. Jamie, when I read this post, I thought of the Seinfeld episode where George wanted to rat a guy out for not cleaning his equipment at the gym. But then the guy caught George doing something in the shower... Do you know this one? HAHA. Sorry, I had to bring it up. I agree with you though. I have an obsession with having clean hands. I can't stand when they feel grimy. I can't imagine sitting in someone else's sweat...
